Hooray!!!! January is almost here, and

Speak Easy

is ready for a new year of listening and telling. On Wednesday January 16, starting at 7:30, our featured teller is Granny Sue Holstein. She's coming to us from West Virginia, and she'll tell some grand Appalachian stories that will make you laugh 'till you cry and cry till you laugh. To find out more about her and visit her great website and blog go to: http://www.grannysue.blogspot.com

Speak Easy is in the Rathskeller of the Columbus Maennerchor located at 966 South High St. They have lots of parking and a great bar with beer and other libations as well as a menu featuring great German dinners. We will be gathering the third Wednesday of each month until May. Each month you will hear a different featured teller for the first 30 to 40 minutes. After that, we invite anyone who has an 8 to 10 minute story to sign up and tell. The Speak Easy audience is always encouraging and interested. Don't be shy. Give it a try.
